Running a railway is a very costly business. To help raise funds for the railway the Cavan and Leitrim Railway Supporters' Association was set up. The main aims of the association is to financially help the Cavan and Leitrim Railway Company Limited. This is achieved in many ways, i.e. draws, subscriptions, the sale of books and videos, donations, etc. Members of association often become actively involved in the everyday running of the railway. Duties include everything from cleaning carriages and locos to driving locos and railcars, manning the booking office to acting as guard on the train, catering in our tea room, and maintenance of locos and stock to restoration work.

Membership fees are as follows:

	Annual Adult Subscription		IR£15.00
	Annual OAP/Under 18 Subscription		IR£10.00
	Annual Family Subscription		IR£20.00
	Life Membership		IR£100.00

Membership of the Cavan and Leitrim Railway Supporters' Association entitles you to: free travel on the Cavan and Leitrim Railway, discounts on various books and videos, notification of upcoming events and railtours as well as a quarterly newsletter.
