That Time Again
Halloween has become quite the tradition in Dromod, and this
year is going to be no different. We would like to invite you
to join us for our "11th Annual Halloween
Horror Express". Yes we have been doing this for eleven
fun years and we have a few things specially planned for this
years event.
The usual favourites will be appearing, so prepare to be delighted
and horrified by our Ghastly Graveyard, Haunted Hearse, Spooky
Spiders and Enigmatic Executioner. Watch as creatures of night
come alive and invade our little railway for the night of All
Hallows Eve.
These will be joined by our Mad Scientist Laboratory where you
will see a creature come to life as an inmate is electrocuted.
As usual we are always looking for new ideas for attractions during
Halloween. If you have any ideas please let us know by sending
an email to halloween-suggestions@irish-railway.com.

When Does The Event Take Place and Where
Can I Get Tickets?
 Trains
run between 6 and 9pm on Tuesday 31st October 2005, and with an
over all capacity of 120 people per trip there is plenty of room
for everyone. Tickets are available from the Station's Ticket
Office, at a price of €8 per child. Adults go free.
Once you have bought your tickets you make your way to Platform
9 3/4 where after a short wait you can board the train. Once ready
the train will make its way from the Station into the night. Each
journey takes approximately 25 minutes and covers about 1/4 mile.
During this journey you will be treated to the weird and spooky
perils of Ireland's Only Haunted Railway. For more information
on what you might see during your journey please have a look at
the Attractions section.
Upon your return from wilds of the Leitrim Countryside there
will be many activities taking place at the station. A disco and
fancy dress competition will be held in the Goods Shed while some
films are shown in the mobile cinema. Refreshments will be available
during the night in our tea room where the adults can rest while
the children party into the night
