Bought Myself a Cowboy Starter

I actually built this place, it is what they call a Cowboy starter down here in Texas. That means you get youself a piece of land which is just big enough for a house and a horse lot. In this case I sort of skimped on the land, because I got a piece of land that is surrounded by power line right of ways that no one else can build on. I think that they belong to first choice energy in blossom TX, but there is a substation back behind where I built the place and so there are two sets of high voltage lines that converge there. I am sort of in the bottom of the V that these power line right of ways form. I can not build any permanent structures on the land, but they are fine with it if I want to fence it in. In fact they would rather than I do this as my horses are going to keep the scrub down. It saves them having to tend to the land as much.

I sort of cheated a bit with the barn, but I do not think anyone is going to come around and figure out that I put it a bit too close to the power company’s right of way. I am just going to act as though I was dumb if they say anything. I might pay a fine if they do see it and anyone cares enough to snitch on me, but I doubt that I end up in jail for that. The barn is not exactly immovable at at any rate. I like it where it is, because that leaves me a lot more yard, but it would not be awful if I had to move it a bit closer to the house.

A 30 Minute Response Time from Our Plumber Saved Us from a Stinky and Messy Evening

When the sewer is backed up, how long do you want to wait for a plumber to unclog it? Every homeowner wants that taken care of immediately. We had sewer water coming up out of the floor drains in the basemen. This was more than just a clogged toilet. The toilets flushed fine, and the sink drains worked. It all just stopped somewhere between the basement and the main line at the street. A company that does local sewer cleaning in Bergen County NJ has a 30 minute response time listed at their website, so I called them.

It was late afternoon, and the kids were going to be coming in from playing outside all day. All four of them were going to need baths, and that means running water. And kids are always having to use the toilet too. Continue reading

Searching for the Perfect Operating System

For most of my life, I used Windows as an operating system. I had grown tired of the problems associated with Windows and wanted to try another operating system. I borrowed a laptop from a friend of mine that was running Apple’s OS, and tried it out for a day. I didn’t like that operating system either. My friend mentioned another system for me to try that was Linux based. He said that I could download it from The Pirate Bay for free, put it on a bland DVD or a flash drive, and boot it from there, and if I wanted to install it fully, I could easily do it later.

I downloaded the operating system, and I was surprised at how small it was. It barely took up any space on my flash drive, compared to Windows, which took up around 15GB of space. That’s extra space that could be used for storing files, movies, or games. Continue reading

How Much Can You Get Satellite For?

I have been looking at this place out in the country and I am quite sure that the only way to get a pay tv service would be to get a satellite package. I love the place in theory, but I am not sure if it is an entirely practical idea. The big thing is whether or not I could find a good internet connection. Of course satellite tv is easy. You can get it any place, like this deal for example that I found quite readily I have not looked at the fine print of that deal and I suspect that it is not quite as good a deal with if you look at the whole picture. Of course you see the ad for the direct tv package and they have a nice number in great big letters that is supposed to look awesome. It is going to be awesome for as long as they give you that price. Continue reading

You Can Book Cars Online

Recently I was looking to rent a car, but I had no idea how to go about it. So I started looking at different website s and found some pretty promising ones. A lot of companies let you get a care right at the airport where you land, that’s pretty convenient in my opinion as I don’t have to go searching for a rental agency, I can just use the one right there at the airport. The best part about it however was that it wasn’t even more expensive than just going to a normal rental agency. Even though the convenience factor was huge, most of the ones I looked at didn’t take advantage of the fact that they could charge you more because they are at the gate rather than a few miles away. That is something I really appreciate and it has definitely made me think hard about where I want to go to get my rental.

I was specifically flying into majorca airport, and found a website that showed me all of the available listings. I did this while on the plane, and attempted to book a car for when I land. Much to my surprise, the car was actually there and ready to go when I landed. I didn’t have to wait around in those long lines and try to get myself a rental. I just walked up to the checkout counter and grabbed my keys and then I was off. It was a pretty great experience, and it’s a good thing that I got my car booked on the plane because I found out later that they actually ran out of rental cars that day. Using a website instead of waiting in line made sure that I got a car today and for that I am very thankful.

Trying to Put a Demo Tape Together

The band had been together for a couple of months now. It was just a hobby at first, but we are thinking about trying to get some work, but first we figure that we need to make something that we can show people who might want to hire us. I figure that I can fool around with an Audacity free download and see how hard it is going to be to make a good audio tape of us performing. I have a video that I could post of us, but the audio quality is not good enough in my opinion. We recorded it and my cousin Joe shot the video. Continue reading

An Easy and Affordable Cash Advance

Whether people want to admit to it fully or not, today’s society basically revolves around money and going without it is virtually impossible. This is nothing new, as trading and bartering are very long standing parts of human culture, but it seems to have gotten out of hand lately. Even people with jobs and career plans can struggle in some cases, but getting a little extra cash can often help them out of a bind. This is where cash advance loans come into play, as they are aimed at responsible customers with jobs that just need a temporary cash boost.

Loans often get an unfairly bad reputation, as movies and other works of fiction often associate loans with sketchy loan sharks that chase down clients with baseball bats or threaten violence. While surely this does exist in some circles, most loans are nothing like this. In fact, going to a reputable company like this means that anyone who applies for the loan will be treated like a value customer. Continue reading

Beautiful New Apartments Now Available

I’ve always been the kind of guy who is far more comfortable living in an apartment. Even with my parents pushing me to buy a house, my dad even offered to help cover the cost of the mortgage, I know myself well enough to understand that a home is the last thing that I need on my plate. I’m always on the lookout for a great apartment which is what lead me to which has some of the coolest apartments in the city ready for the taking. These are far better than any home you can buy yourself!

People don’t seem to understand why I am so against owning a house. Just think about it; owning a home comes with all sorts of property taxes, insurance, overhead for maintenance and upkeep as well as the general loss of property value over time. Continue reading

Buy ReverNation Plays on the Road to Stardom

I never thought much about being famous as an artist in the music industry. I just liked to do my thing among friends. We would get together and I would be called on to share a bit. I never learned how to play an instrument in the formal manner, but I did learn how to play a keyboard through family who played and being self-taught. Singing came second. Then writing my own stuff came third. I could not even write the notes down, but I could play what I made up in my head. Now I buy ReverbNation plays to help generate interest in fans buying the Mp3s I have out there for sale.

No, I am not famous. However, I do earn money from music sales to help me purchase new things that allow me to learn more and make more music. I bought some recording equipment used, and finally was able to afford a real piano. No keyboard sounds as good or plays like a real piano. Will I ever be a household name? I do not know. The Best Security System for Us

There has been a lot of burglaries in our area recently. It is not to be unexpected, because we do live on the outskirts of a major city. Knowing that we are keeping up with statistics is not exactly reassuring in this area though. I didn’t want to leave our protection to chance, so I decided to get the best home security system that I could. The only problem with that was that I didn’t know which one was the best. I had never had any need for anything like this before, so I wouldn’t know a good one from a mediocre one without doing some research first.

I was able to see where there was an even bigger distinction than just good and mediocre. Some systems were downright scary in how little they offered any type of protection, and I was also able to see that a few systems truly stand apart from others because of the great job they do. I was able to read about the types of cameras there are as well as which ones would be best for my house and property. Continue reading

Started Working on the Baby’s Room

We were not sure this was going to work out at first, but we talked to the guy who runs the apartment complex and convinced him to let us move across the parking lot to a bigger place. My brother in law and I looked pretty silly carrying all of the furniture out of our apartment and across the parking lot. Of course we would stop and take a break before we went up the stairs. Peg and I have started to look at the best cribs in 2015 and trying to figure out all of the stuff we need to do to get ready for the kid when he gets here. Continue reading

STRIPTEASE IN ALTO MARE (fuori concorso)

I giudici o i giudicati?

Started Looking at a Little House

At first I thought this little house might be in Canada, but it is about twenty yards inside the International border from what the real estate lady. She was telling me all about it and I got the feeling that she was having a bit of trouble unloading the place, but I liked it if I can get the price down to something that I can afford. I have to figure out what it will cost to get the monitoring service from ADT home security for Buffalo. The place has a really nice home security and automation system on it. I would guess that the previous owner liked to fool around with that sort of thing, because it is a custom built system which has a lot of features on it that you would have had to do yourself from the looks of it. Of course if you want to you can make a house that can do all sorts of things, so the features this one has are not all that outstanding compared to the stuff you can do.

It does have these keyless entry systems in the back and in the garage though. Of course everyone has a system that opens their garage door without having to get out of the car, but you can do the same thing basically with your front door. It can be done in a variety of ways. In this one it is done with a keypad. You do not have to have a key to get in, but you have to know what the PIN code is, just like going to the the ATM and getting money out of it. I like that but I do not know what a smart thief might think of it. They already have ways to break in to cars that have those systems.

Finally Found a Place to Stay

Comcast Cable Box Codes S0a00I was sleeping on the couch of this guy for a couple of nights. That was pretty bad. I had all of my stuff in the car and this guy was not exactly happy to have me over. He wanted to help me out, but not to go out of his way to do it. I got lucky when I found this place that some guy had moved in and out of over the course of one night. It came with free Comcast cable tv, although I assume that eventually the guy who ordered it is going to move in some other place and cancel this account. It did screw me up so that I can not get internet from Comcast. He apparently ordered internet from them, but while they hooked up the cable tv, the internet did not get hooked up. They probably did not have the guy who installs the modem ready.

At any rate so far as Comcast is concerned this other guy is living at this address and he has ordered Internet here. Of course I thought about telling them to hook it up in his name, but there is no point in being silly about it. I figure that I will find some other option if Comcast does not want to straighten things out for. It is not as though I really care that much for getting free cable TV to be honest about it. I will take it and I will watch it, but I do not need it and there is no way that I would pay what they want to charge you for it. I do need to have the internet, I can not really do much studying without it. Right now I have to hang out at the library to study.

Fixing the Crab Shack Roof

I own a crab shack in a small neighborhood, and every week I get a lot of business from people who have a craving for seafood. I make a lot of money from the community, and know every customer on a first name basis. A few weeks ago, a really bad storm came into the neighborhood, and it caused a tree to fly into the roof of the crab shack, leaving it damaged. This didn't affect my ability to run the shack, but the damage was rather unsightly, so I looked for expert commercial roof repair in NJ.

A local roofing company cleaned off the pieces of tree that were left over, and began making repairs to the roof. I closed the crab shack while repairs were being made, because I knew the repair workers would be making a lot of noise with their tools. The repairs only took a day, and after that, the shack was in perfect condition. People came by the next day with an even bigger appetite for seafood, since they couldn't get any the day before. I think that day was one of the most profitable days my business ever experienced.

I've been thinking about expanding and adding another location for the crab shack. I could serve twice as many people with two restaurants, and make double the money as well. If the second shack does well, then I could open up another one, and keep going until I have an entire franchise that covers the entire state, and maybe the whole country. Of course, this won't happen over night. Expansion will be a slow process, but I'm confident that I can pull it off. I just need to hire some workers who are as dedicated as I am to ensuring that the shack runs at optimal efficiency.

Great Electricity Providers for Great State of Texas

It took a lot longer than I thought it would, but I have finally moved out of my parents house and I am now living on my own. I expected that I would be able to do so years ago, but there have been some serious impediment to my plans over the years. You know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men and such. I don't need to state it here. Anyway, I have been evaluating Just Energy in Texas as a potential electricity supplier for my new apartment.

My apartment is new in the sense that it is new to me, and also in the sense that is literally a new apartment. I believe that it was completed last year, and I am the first person to ever live in it. That is definitely a good thing, because it is not always very fun to live in an apartment that has been lived in by other people. So I am going to start trying to get all of my utilities hooked up, so that I can actually spend the night in the apartment.

At this point in time, I have moved a bunch of stuff into my apartment, but I do not have any of my utilities set up. Water is free at this apartment, so that is cool. I am glad to take the free water. But anyway, I am going to try to figure out how much it is going to cost to get everything set up. I hope that I do not have to pay a lot of money for the deposit on my electricity. That would be a big deal, and I hope that it won't be necessary. I just don't have a lot of money after paying my rent.

Started to Think About Going in to Business for Myself

Started to think about going in to business for myself, mostly because my boss has alienated a lot of the customers and some of them are encouraging me to go out on my own. Of course there are a whole lot of moving parts to this sort of deal. There are a lot of little stuff, like getting the office machines and the office supplies and deciding between all of the commercial providers of high speed internet. Then there are the big things. For me it would start out with a nice sized building. It would have to be big enough for a small office, an area where we could receive and ship materials, then you would have to have all of the stuff that you need to produce your product. In my case I do not make stuff, but in fact I finish metals. That is what you would call a plater, but there is a lot more to that and there are dozens of different things.

I could not start out doing all of it. I would want to do the things that required the smallest amount of capital investment and gave me the best return on the investment, but what I need above all else is to get a couple of customers. It would have to be a big steady job that I was sure would not go away. That is what you need to make sure that you get all of the bills paid every month. Then you can go out and find other work so that you can make a profit. You need to have that big order if you are going to get started though, something that is going to help you get off of the ground. You could not just go in to it hoping for work.

The Love of the Internet

Living on the West Coast has been such a great deal more average than living out on the East. This isn't a result of any kind of favored climate example or society. No, this is on the grounds that there are genuine better decisions here in terms of Internet Service Providers (ISPs). The American individuals have been at war with our current determination of ISPs that appears to have climaxed yesterday when the FCC decided for the larger part of Americans: that the Internet would turn into an utility. I have learned that Frontier Internet in Kirkland WA to be one of the best ISPs at present accessible to us.

I've had the tragic experience of having been a client of almost each and every vast ISP and my involvement with them has been only frightful. Everything from issues to charging to fundamental specialized issues with my Internet administration, they have been only a trial to work with. Why does it need to be similar to this whatsoever? As clients, we should be approached with deference. When we call with an issue we ought to have the capacity to have that issue settled: rather we're regularly recommended more bundles and administrations we ought to move up to.

It's such a shame, really. I live my life with the Internet. I admire what it can offer me, and yet as our innovation has provided for us the intends to pick what we need to watch through the Internet, with any semblance of Roku or Amazon Fire Box, the link suppliers have been inconceivably careless on enhancing their systems. Despite everything they decline to provide for us what we truly need; a stage of decision. The capacity to finely tailor the bundles to our methods, to our needs, and rather push these bloated channel bundles down our aggregate throats. It's a poor method for working together however I have an inclination, because of the FCC deciding, that we're going to see extraordinary changes start to happen.

Started Working on a Call Tracking Plan

We are looking at the most effective way to monitor our marketing calls. Obviously you want to make sure that the people you employ are going about things the right way. We are looking at this thing they call and wondering if it is going to be effective. The big thing we are worried about is that some people might be excessively going after commissions. That is always a risk when you incentivize people, some people are easily swayed by the temptation of money and they are willing to stretch the truth in order to make a commission. The big problem with that is that we want to be in business for a very long time and the way to stay in business is to get customers and keep them happy. No one is happy when they think that people are trying to take advantage of them and obviously if you tell a bunch of lies it is going to catch up to you.

That is something you learn if you are paying attention. The lies are always changing and the truth is always the same so it is easier to keep track of the truth. If you tell one lie you end up having to tell a half dozen more lies because of the first one. It gets harder and harder to keep track of the lies. It is a simple matter to encourage people to be honest and to stick to the script, but you have to let them know that there is a cost if they are dishonest. We definitely want all of our people to be as scrupulous and honest as they can be. Obviously not everyone is going to be great at selling, but you can do it on a fair and square basis all of the time.

Wondering How Much Fiber Optic Internet Costs

I have been wondering how much fiber optic internet costs ever since I dropped by this place these friends of mine are renting the other day. I went to school with these guys and they graduated a year ago, they and some other guys have this big house and they have it set up for video game tournaments. Of course the random cheap internet service providers do not cut it when you have a bunch of guys who are really using the internet hard. These guys are pretty much working out of this house it seems, they have the sort of job where they do not need to have an office. At any rate they have this really awesome fiber optic connection. I was trying to figure out what it cost them, but they just said that it wasn't that big of a deal, of course there were four or five of them to split up the cost and they might have been calling it a business expense.

I am thinking that I might be able to call about half of my internet a business expense. I used to date this girl who had her employer pay for all of her internet. She worked at home all of the time though and never went to an office for any reason. So they had a good reason to pay for her internet. In fact they gave her a computer and no one else was allowed to touch it. She was not getting awesome internet though. It was something very average as I recall, although I was not really paying much attention. At any rate I could really love it if I could afford to have the sort of internet that these guys do. Of course I would also like to have someone pay two thirds.

The Disproportionate Power of the Cable Industry

After having all of my services hooked up to my new home in Oregon, I was beginning to dread looking for the one necessary service that I had avoided having connected; the Internet. After years of nearly nothing but poor experiences from cable companies Time Warner and Comcast, who seem to be in every city and state that I've lived in, I was not looking forward to more of the same from the most awful companies in America. So color me surprised when I instead discovered Frontier in Oregon. I was shocked that neither other cable company had made grounds into the market even here.

They are truly terrible as a company can get. While it's no doubt great to see a company grow in success as both Comcast and Time Warner have over the years they still remain lacking in their ability to provide appropriate customer service to the millions of customers they now possess. Frontier surprised me by doing something that should not have surprised me had I not had previous experiences of the opposite: my bill was completely correct. With Comcast and Time Warner as my original service providers I had been forced to contact the billing department multiple times due to inaccurate bills with multiple charges which should have not been associated with my account.

How they are able to conduct themselves in a manner especially after stories from consumers who have had nothing but nightmare like experiences with the customer service departments from these two companies, I simply do not understand. The consumer should be the deciding force that decides whether a company is success or not. Unfortunately for the American people, the cable industry possesses one of the most influential and powerful lobbying groups in the nation in order to dictate cable policy in their favor.

The New Internet at My Parent’s Home is So Quick!

After learning that my father has become ill, my mother called me and told me she needs help caring for him. I have a husband a child, so we planned it so that I could go out there to help with dad and I would bring my son with me. My husband said he would look into the cost of DSL Internet in Michigan so that I could continue to work while there with my mom. As a freelancer, I can take my work anywhere that I go. My husband runs a small computer store, so he planned to stay behind.

My husband asked his employees to watch over the store so that he could take two weeks off and come with me to Michigan to help us all out at the beginning. I got packed, fixed things around the house so that they would be ready for my husband when he got back home, got my son packed and bought our airline tickets. My husband was busy with work, so his only job was to call to get the DSL set up in my mom's house.

Once we arrived, we found the installer was there to put in the new fast Internet without only hours after we got there. This means that I could spend the rest of the day visiting with mom and dad, and then get up the next morning to work at little bit.

We do not have really fast Internet at home, but the new service at my parent's place was great! I made my husband promise that we could get the same speed at our home when I come back there again.

We have a nice little schedule set up. I get up each morning to work for about four hours, and my husband spends that time helping my mom and dad. When that time is up, it is then my turn to help them. So far it is working well, and I am getting my freelance work done quickly because the new service is so fast.

Moved in with a Couple of My Pals

Moved in with a couple of my pals this morning. So far it is going pretty well and it is going to work out great so long as we all do what we have agreed to do. There are four of us and we are sharing this big old house that is probably large enough for us and another person or two. It is out in the country so we can make a lot of noise without bothering any people and we plan to do that. It has a decent dsl service from Centurylink, but obviously when you have four guys sharing it that does not seem as though it is going to be good enough. I am probably going to have to get some other sort of internet with a higher speed, but I have the ability to get my company to pay for half of my internet. They are happy to do that.

In fact this part of it might be a bit of a problem. I work from home a good bit of the time. The company is short on space at the office and they let you work from home a good bit of the time for practical reasons. That being that they do not have to pay however much per square foot to rent your work space at home. I do not think those guys are going to be a nuisance, but obviously they are some times playing loud music. In fact two of the guys are in this country rock band. That actually works out better for us, because they are out on the road a lot, but some times the two of them rehearse out back and they can be loud when they feel like they want to be loud. Of course it is not bothering anyone most of the time.

Everyone is Crazy for Garcinia Cambogia

The Garcinia Cambogia that I ordered worked so well that I recommended it to all my family and friends. I bought it with the purpose of losing weight in time for the holiday season. It worked and now I'm thinner than ever before. Everyone who has seen me agrees that my weight loss has been amazing. They all ask me how I did it and start forming all kinds of crazy theories. One friend thought I was on diet pills and one friend even thought I had gone to a doctor to have liposuction done.

People usually have a hard time believing that I was able to lose weight with the help of an extract, but I simply tell them to try it for themselves and they'll see that I'm telling the truth. Some of my friends have been adventurous to give the extract a try, and when they start losing weight, they're amazed at the results. Even my own mother tried it out and she lost weight as well. My dad is loving the new look that mom has and the two of them have been getting a lot more intimate these days. My mom has gotten dad to take some of the extract as well.

There is one thing I didn't count on. Since everyone is using Garcinia Cambogia now, it's become a little harder to order it. On some occasions when I go to order it online, the supply will be gone until later that day. It doesn't take that long for the extract to come back in stock, but that down time between when it goes out of stock and when the stock is replenished does put a hold on things. I guess I'll have to start ordering larger shipments of the extract so I won't need to order as often.
